This session introduces faculty to the social annotation tool Perusall, including hands-on practice and how to use this tool to enhance student engagement, comprehension, and collaborative learning.

After the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Set up Perusall for their courses, including uploading materials and creating assignments.
• Explore effective social annotation strategies that encourage reading comprehension, meaningful interaction, and deepen student engagement with course materials.
• Envision at least one Perusall activity that can integrate into an existing course.
