Summer Book Club: "Calling In"

The Conservatory Belonging Together Committee is partnering with TTL to offer a summer book club for faculty and staff. We will read and discuss Calling In: How to Start Making Change With Those You'd Rather Cancel (2025) by Loretta J. Ross. The book, by "a pioneering Black feminist and MacArthur ‘Genius’ Fellow, [is] an urgent and exhilarating memoir/manifesto/handbook about how to rein the excesses of cancel culture so we can truly communicate and solve problems together"(Goodreads).
The meetings will be once or twice a month between June-August, depending on the desires of the group, and will meet on Zoom, with one possible meeting in person on the Winchester campus. We are hoping to facilitate a live conversation with the author in August! If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Flitton Adams, Associate Professor of Costume Design (jennifer.adams@su.edu).
