Summer Book Club (July)

Are you concerned about students being distracted by devices in class? Wondering about ways to cultivate attention and deepen engagement? Join your colleagues for a discussion of James M. Lang's Distracted: Why Students Can’t Focus and What You Can Do About It. You will receive a copy of the book and an opportunity to workshop assignments that you design (or redesign) in response to strategies and practices Lang describes. Participants will have access to our dedicated Google Chat Space. We'll meet three times in July, most likely over Zoom, based on availability and preferences.
